The Hurds bring over 17 years of Biblical Counseling and Pastoral experience to focus in equipping the Church. Jim and Lynne bring that personal touch to their marriage and leadership seminars. They are also available to speak on mental health issues.
Drawing on their years experience and specialized training, they are able to zero in on issues that hinder a life of wholeness. They bring a relaxed atmosphere to the task of training and equipping the Body of Christ.
In marriage seminars, they cover the basics: challenging couples and soon-to-be couples with scriptural foundations for marriage. With these basics established, they branch into practical activities and even assign "homework" .
Presentations on mental health issues, such as depression, anger control, and the importance of forgiveness, are shown to be stepping-stones to health and vitality in an individual's walk with Jesus.
